FAQ

Questions property managers ask us

The honest answers to what managers weigh before connecting VestaGlass to their portfolio.

Does this replace Rentvine?

No. Rentvine stays your system of record — it holds your portfolio, your leases, your accounting. VestaGlass reads that portfolio and turns it into a map you can plan inspections on. It runs alongside Rentvine; it doesn't replace any part of it.

Do you touch our accounting?

No. VestaGlass reads your properties, units, leases, and inspection dates to build the map. It never writes to your general ledger, owner statements, or tenant ledgers — there is no path in the product for that. The only things it can write back to Rentvine are the inspection date after a route is completed and, if you use it, work-order appointment windows — and both are off unless you turn them on.

What happens to my data?

It stays yours, in your PMS. VestaGlass keeps a synced copy to draw the map; it doesn't own your data — Rentvine remains the system of record throughout. Stop using VestaGlass and nothing in Rentvine changes.

Do I have to change how my team works?

No. The point is to remove steps, not add them. You plan the day on the map instead of in a spreadsheet and Google My Maps; the inspector still gets a list of stops. Nothing else about the day changes.

What if my inspectors don't use the app?

You still get everything. The route is built in the office; the inspector only needs the stops in order. Send them the addresses however you already do — the plan works without anyone in the field opening VestaGlass.
